Bill: Cabinet Proposal of June 2573

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2574

Description[?]:

As per our proportional representation of cabinets law, I present to you a new cabinet based on current seat allotments.

DSP - 22.5% of 13 = 3
AFFS - 20.3% of 13 = 3
AUP - 14.5% of 13 = 2
USMC - 13.3% of 13 = 2
CP - 12.6% of 13 = 1
NPP - 9.3% of 13 = 1
SCP - 7.3% of 13 = 1

NOTE:
I rounded these numbers so that instead of say 12.599 it's 12.6.
I originally had CP with 2 seats, however that came up to a total of 14 seats, so since CP's was averaged to get to .6 I had to reduce his seat number so that we would have thirteen in all.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
