Resolved, by the Imperial Senate of the Selucian Empire, that rates for telephone services shall be regulated to ensure affordability and fairness. The Imperial Senate hereby established the Selucian Telephony Commission to regulate rates. There shall be 10 members of the board. The Imperator, Senatus Princeps, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and Leader of the Opposition shall serve as members on an ex officio basis. The Imperial Senate shall also elect 6 persons from its ranks as members. No person selected as a Telephony Commissioner shall be compelled to resign his or her seat nor shall he or she be entitited to additional compensation. |
