Communities of different sizes may want to choose their mayor in a different way. Some cities may wish to elect their mayor in a direct election, but we can also imagine that in some towns this is best left to the municipal councils. This initiative proposes the following: -All mayors are elected in a direct election, unless the local municipal government determines an alternative method appointment in a referendum. |
