| Under current law Jelbania has a state religion but membership is voluntary. The Selucian Catholic Church was founded by the Selucian Catholic Party in the Selucian Empire. It is not to be confused with Terra Catholicism or any other Catholic denomination. As intended by the Selucian Catholic Party, the Selucian Catholic Church is the closest denomination to OOC Roman Catholicism. It is the most conservative version of Catholicism in Terra and as of right now is the most active according Party Organization. Previously the state religion was the Church of Jelbania; it is unknown what kind of denomination the Church of Jelbania is. The theme of our nation is France, and as we all know, Catholicism is the main religion there. This will not change our relationship with the secular government of the Selucian Empire. Article 1: The State religion of Jelbania shall hereby be the Selucian Catholic Church, the Jelbanian Diocese. Article 2: There shall be five diocese, one for each region, and they shall be administered by five bishops. The Archbishop shall administer in the Diocese of Baofluz, Perimor. A Cardinal shall also work in Jelbania and will work on our behalf at the Holy See in the Selucian Empire. |
