Bill: Adjustment of Retirement Age to Facilitate Economic Opportunities
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Republican Party (ZC)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2596
Description[?]:
Overall, unemployment rates are quite well in all but two of our province. A study in this has resulted in findings that indicate that in these regions the population demographics tilt heavily to the senior-citizens of Zardugal. It is with this in mind that the Federal government take action to extend the legal age to which one can retire. Given the advent of modern medicines and longer lives this is only sensible. The government offers no pension system as is, so the question could be-why do we have a retirement age? However, this is a modest compromise and we seek support from all parties in the Directorate. |
