Bill: Secondary Action Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Her Majesty's Loyal Trade Unionists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2596

Description[?]:

Where secondary industrial action is used for an explicitly political purpose, such as to deliberate undermine an elected government, I believe it is wrong. However, sometimes in order to achieve economic justice on a company-wide or industry-wide basis, trade unions do legitimately need to use secondary action in order to achieve their objectives.

Arthur Smith
(General Secretary of Her Majesty's Loyal Trade Unionists)
