Bill: Military De-Escalation Acts of 2609

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party of Aldegar

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2610

Description[?]:

The armed forces are used for one reason. To defend the nation. But when we use biological weapons we have the favor of the world turned against us and with the legal research of these weapons we can find ways to combat them without using them. We also propose to change our nuclear policy to allow us a retaliation to an attack from biological weapons, nuclear, or chemical attacks. This will serve as a deterrent to any other nation's nuclear forces. Finally we propose that we take the regulation of landmines into the hands of the nation and freeze land mine deployments to foreign nation territories unless they are used to defend a base against attack. However they are not to be used as a force against an enemy. (Like mining their harbours).
