Bill: Third PA Base Authorization Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Lourenne Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2641
Description[?]:
Members of the Senate, Today, President Strickland and myself met with Talmorian PM, Field Marshal Sir James Clark to discuss the future of the Talmoria/Lourenne defense scheme against the Indralan threat and other international threats. I am pleased to say that this co-operation shall continue. However, our delegations strongly agreed that a greater force is needed in the region. Undoubtedly, this bill will provide the increase in force. We propose an extra fleet of 20 battleships in the area and the formation of a third base in the Gulf of St. Sebastian, manned by both Lourennian and Talmorian armed forces. This should not only strengthen our alliance but should also remind the world that we mean business. The proposed naval base is in red: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a221/room409-picturesofdoom/coptmap.jpg The virtues are clear, we obviously need to increase strength in the region and protect our homeland and assets. Sen. Alyssa Ashton-McNally (D - HA) Prime Minister of Lourenne |
