Voting deadline: February 2654

Description[?]:

This is the 40th bill in the Social Reform series. This bill proposes to create a more progressive tax rate. It would create tax cuts for many, while still giving our country a higher surplus. The reason we did percentages with 4 and 9's is simple. It would provide the lowest tax rate for citizens while maintaning our current or a higher surplus. Most of the welathiest members of society will not have to pay a penny more, except for the moguls who run the large monopolies in the business world. Many middle class taxpayers will receive a tax cut, to their benefit. Progressive tax rates will help spread taxes throughout society, in order for the society to run more efficiently.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.

Random quote: "For among other evils caused by being disarmed, it renders you contemptible; which is one of those disgraceful things which a prince must guard against." - Niccolo Machiavelli
