| This has been done to limit the Oppositions ability to take control even if they win a majority in the election soon to come. We would be happy to have more democracy in Deltaria, but we cannot afford to lose the Monarchy. So, either you convert to our cause, or be stuck for decades in a powerless state. The only way you can reverse this is to get 67% of the vote. In a three vs three battle that is improbable, and soon it will be four vs three making it even less likely. Don't waste your time. Move out and conquer Wantuni or Vanuku to increase our Empire's size and we will give you power, there is no reason to fight each other when we can dominate together. Under our leadership there is a Jeltarian Imperial Senate. Propose a resolution that affects the entire empire and it will be proposed in Jelbania. The resolution will pass based on total votes, no on whether it passes both nation's legislatures. So, if you have 15 seats in Deltaria you get 10% of the total vote in the Empire. If you get 75 seats it is 50%. Any party can present a resolution but they must all be English and they can be struck down by the Monarch if he feels they are a waste of time. For example: The Deltarian Senate hereby claims the Imperator to be a tyrant. As it stands now: Left Monarchist Front: 19.39% Namaste Party: 13.27 Lib Gov: 10.20 Hot Chocolate Party: 7.14 People's Party of Deltaria: 50% Deltaria's Viceroy is the Prime Minister of Vascania, he will now be replaced by the Monarch himself until the law changes. |
