Bill: Budget proposal of May 2682

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Union Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2683

Description[?]:

The National Union Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic of Telamon.

The National Union Party believe we should spend more on defence, as it is possible that we may be at war in the near future after seeing our people being slaughtered by savages. We are cutting into our surplus, however we have been in a surplus for so long that it does not matter. So instead of putting into an never ending pot we are going to help fund better schools and hospitals.

I purpose this alongside my income tax changes to the house.
