Bill: Freedom in pet ownership
Details
Submitted by[?]: Union of Progressive Ulama
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2126
Description[?]:
The line between "tame" and "wild" animals is pretty thin. Why should we ban people from owning snakes, for instance? Let's allow people to own wild animals, as long as they make sure the animals are kept properly confined so as not to endanger other people. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy regarding the keeping of wild animals as pets.
Old value:: The ownership of wild animals as pets is banned.
Current: This matter is left up to the local governments.
Proposed: Wild animals may be kept as pets; the owners of dangerous wild animals must take the necessary measures to ensure they can't escape.
