Bill: Marriage of the Prince, 2725

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2726
Description[?]:
Prince Léopold is at age to marry, and this is made even more important because the immediate royal family of Rildanor comprises of only Her Majesty, the Prince Consort, and the heir apparent. This is hardly sufficient to secure the survival of the Rildanorian branch of the House of Orléans-Vassers. We propose, however, to marry off the prince to a Rildanorian commoner, just so that some Rildanorian blood can once again flow in the veins of this family. As you can see through the family tree (http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g237/Zanziik/HousedOrleans-Vasser.png), the royal blood has been diluted through marriages with foreign royal families. This bill shall therefore recognise the marriage between HRH Crown Prince Léopold* (b. 2702), son of the Queen, to Jeanne-Marie Tresbien. |
