Bill: Free Gun Ownership
Details
Submitted by[?]: Old School Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2126
Description[?]:
The right to bear arms must be defended unless doing so impedes the rights of others or the government's ability to protect the rights of others. Presently, free gun ownership will do neither, and so we aim to permit all individuals to purchase guns should they so desire. After all, criminals will get the guns no matter what the government does; allowing the citizens the ability to protect themselves without unnecessary hinderance will simply give many people a measure of added security. |
