Voting deadline: January 2748

Description[?]:

By Supreme Presidential Submission and therefore voted upon by majority herewith in the Senate of the Federal Republic this bill shall establish:

This bill does not seek to institute a system of undeserved privilege, nor does it seek to undermine the democratic roots of our noble republic. Rather, it seeks to reward those who have added to the greatness of Solentia, and to recognize the heads of great families who make Solentia truly great.

Knight: A member of a Order of Chivalry, this is not a title of nobility. It is presented to a citizen as a member of the Order of the Gray Wolf, as a reward for special service on behalf of the nation, or for such endeavors as are recognized as having promoted Solentian interests both here and abroad. Knights of either gender are referred to as Sir or Lady.

Baronet or Baronetess: Based upon the holding of an amount of land or equivalent assets to be determined by the [to be established] Solentian College of Arms, after proving that this family meets the requirements as dictacted by the College, including a proven history of service to the nation, a lack of felony, and combined value of lands and assets equivalent of at least Fifteen Million Solenars kept within Solentia herself and not abroad. A commoner may obtain this title. The title can be inherited.

Baron of Baroness: Member of a Noble House. The child of a Baronet may obtain thus or it may be inherited. Initial requirements are based upon the holding of an amount of land or equivalent assets to be determined by the [to be established] Solentian College of Arms, after proving that this family meets the requirements as dictacted by the College, including a proven history of service to the nation, a lack of felony, and combined value of lands and assets equivalent of at least Fifty Million Solenars kept within Solentia herself and not abroad. A commoner may obtain this title. The title can be inherited.

Duke, Duchess: Based upon the holding of an amount of land or equivalent assets to be determined by the [to be established] Solentian College of Arms, after proving that this family meets the requirements as dictacted by the College, including a proven history of service to the nation, a lack of felony, established peerage, and combined value of lands and assets equivalent of at least One Hundred Million Solenars kept within Solentia herself and not abroad. The title can be inherited or obtained through marriage. It may not be granted without first achieving lower peerage.

Foreign Peerage: Will be respected and permitted based upon established familial lines.

Arms: College of Arms will allow Knights and above to register their arms and heraldry. Is shall be illegal for anyone to use them without permission of the one it shall be registered to.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
