Bill: Corporal Punishment
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hizb al-Wataniyya al-Mujadidiyya
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2750
Description[?]:
As they are dealing with the young, it is important that teachers have some form of oversight when it comes to discipline. Allowing a school-by-school system creates a decision-making process that is close enough to the "coalface" as to be relevant, while being regulated sufficiently to prevent egregious abuse. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The teacher's right to discipline children.
Old value:: Teachers may use corporal punishment at their discretion.
Current: Teachers are forbidden from striking children and may only use non-contact discipline (detention, expulsion etc).
Proposed: Discipline levels are set by schools.

Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary |
