Bill: Obscenity Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kundrati Reform Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2774
Description[?]:
Pornography, at best, is a distortion of the true nature of sex. It is a destructive element of society resulting in significant and real emotional, physical, spiritual and financial costs to individuals, families and communities. The KRP is a big supporter of Free Speech Rights. We believe that laws against obscenity are neccessary to maintain a degree of separation between that which is truly free speech, and that which only distorts and destroys. |
