Bill: Labour Relations Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2796

Description[?]:

No Worker should be afriad to exercise the right to strike, for fear of loosing their job. strike action contitutes part of 'freedom of expression, assembly, protest and petition for a redress of grievences in the economic sphere of social life. currently legislation leaves workers vulnerable to discrimination, which is made worse by it's requirement for government backing. this leads government to being an agent of discrimination and minipulation in the work place in favour of employers.

All Workers, deserve the right to express their grivences through strike action. the exclusion of groups of workers from being able to undertake strikes leaves them exposed to potentially exploitative and oppressive practices and implies an inequalty in the rule of law and the citizens civil liberties.
