| While the Foreign Affairs Ministry is greatly in favour of internationalism, this bridge is not the way to support this movement. The Cildanian Republic is an island paradise that should be preserved rather than made openly accessible to by the monstrosity that is this bridge. Given that the main supporter of the bridge is no longer in power, or even represented in Parliament, and the fact that the Cildanian Republic is one of only two signotories to this now old treaty, it seems appropriate to formally remove support for the bridge. The money saved can be used to upgrade ports and airports as a better way to increase our visibility on the world stage. The Foreign Ministry hopes for support, or at the very least for some debate on this proposition. |
