Bill: Food Licensing Act #2
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ecotopian Party of Kalistan
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2133
Description[?]:
With the parties seeming to indicate that we will have clearly labelled foodstuffs, the need for government to license people to sell food seems superfluous. People will be able to make their own judgments, no matter who the distributor. Besides, I can't help imagining that the whole licensing system would cost the government something, or if retailers are provided to pay fees, costs small business and reduces employment. |
Proposals

Old value:: The licensing of food sale is left for local governments to decide.
