The Chief Factor and Chief Executive of The Imperial East Terra Company do hereby forward the Anti-Slavery Enforcement Resolution for the approval of the Shareholders' Council.

Acknowledging that Company Law abhors the practice of slave trading and the transportation of slaves by a slaving power or corporation, the following provisions are enacted:

i) The Director for External and Colonial Affairs shall publish a prohibition list of countries that a) Conduct or participate in the practice of slavery and/or b) Allow the practice of slavery and/or c) Transport slaves unless liberating those onboard.

ii) All vessels that are on the Prohibition List and who enter Company waters or waters where the Company is entitled to operate anti-slavery operations, will be subject to unannounced boardings by Officers of The Imperial East Terra Company. Any vessel that docks or stops in Company ports will be searched for slaves.

iii) Any boarded vessel will be searched for evidence of slaves.

iv) If slaves are found on any vessel, the Company Officer Commanding may use his/her discretion regarding the following actions:

a) The vessel may be escorted to its point of entry into Company waters / patrol waters.
b) The vessel may be detained at a Company or allied port for further investigations by a Company Magistrate.
c) The slaves onboard may be liberated or detained in Company properties.
d) The shipping company or flagged country may be fined up to 100,000 GAD per slave.
e) The ship's crew may be arrested and charged with crimes against humanity.

The Black List maybe amended when necessary.
