Bill: New Police-Military Separation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2886

Description[?]:

The Freedom Party believes the current legislation regarding the use of military forces in a civilian capacity and its reference to use in "serious emergencies" is dangerously vague and as such Freedom proposes that it be amended with the following:

A civilian police force is in place and the military is not allowed to play any part in it.

Ben Richards
Freedom Party Ldr

(Please note that Freedom introduces this bill for a second time owing to proceedural difficulties at the first reading. We do so again because it passed the first time)
