The Emperor in his Ultimate wisdom has decided to abdicate his throne and dissolve his office on the passing of this bill. A new office will be created which will be an elected office for head of state. This office will be known as: Lord Chancellor of the Democratic Empire of Talmoria The holder of this office will be endowed with all the powers and privilidges of the Imperial Throne. The Office holder will reside in the Imperial Palace guarded by the Imperial Guard, they shall be commander-in-cheif of the Armed Forces and Head of State to any Commonwealth Nations of the Empire. This bill will also mean that members of the Armed Forces and Imperial Senate will no longer swear loyality to the Emperor instead they will swear to their country, but as a ceremonial tradition, the Imperial Guard will swear to the dissolved office of the Emperor. |
