Bill: Senate Resolution 169: Executive Budget of 2897

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Independent Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2897

Description[?]:

The Federal Independent Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Federal Republic of Solentia.

With cuts to overspending in the Defense Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, and Finance Ministry, the budget will be kept afloat, retaining strong spending in fields that require it, and lessening funds in those that simply do not. Solentia has not been to war in over 500 years and is in no clear sight of war, rendering a bloated Defense Ministry useless. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also an unused Ministry, with Solentia prospering alone by itself without foreign intervention and profiteering. The Ministry of Finance cuts will be restored back to the original amount as soon as the nation's fiscal state is given time to balance out once more and the country lives on with a successful budget surplus.
