Details
Submitted by[?]: Maroon Party
Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: March 2136
Description[?]:
The Maroon Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Free Republic of Dorvik. We should simplify our tax structure in order to make accounting easier, reflect our economic situation, and encourage growth. First, under the new system, people living under the poverty line in accordance with teh Statistical Data of 2095 will no longer be taxed. Those making between poverty and average income will be taxed at a lower rate, the standard rate will be applied to those making "standard" incomes, and a special luxury tax will be placed on the rich. Most Dorvikians will be paying lower taxes under this system, which can simplify our government' spending and bolster economic growth. |
