Bill: Local Democracy Restoration Act of 2928
Details
Submitted by[?]: Green Party of Aldegar
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2929
Description[?]:
To restore proportional representation in the running of democracy, especially local administration. When you have a single person elected, whether on the basis of first-past-the-post or preferential voting, power is concentrated too much on the hands of that person, and those voters not voting for the elected mayor are far too often ignored in the process of decision making. With having proportionally elected municipal councils exercising mayoral powers, we try to ensure participation of all the different voices in society. |
Proposals

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
