The Communist Party of Dorvik is investing a large sum of the national budget into the Military of Dorvik and it's general defense. Section I - Names of the Armed Forces and it's branches. Section Ia. - Official name of the People's Republic of Dorvik's armed forces: People's Military of Dorvik (PMD). Section Ib. - Official name of the People's Military of Dorvik's branches: People's Army of Dorvik (PAD), People's Navy of Dorvik (PND) and the People's Air Force of Dorvik (PAFD). Secion Iaa. - The Ministry of Internal Affairs controls an autonomous, national guard style Internal guard which is named the Dorvik People's Guard or DPG. Section II - Command of the PMD. Section IIa - The Commander in Chief of the People's Military of Dorvik shall be the General Secretary of the People's Republic of Dorvik and then the overall day to day leader of the military will be the Minister of Defense, then it falls to the Dorvik High Command (DHC) which is staffed by high grade military officers. Sectuion IIb - The command of the the DPG (Dorvik People's Guard) is the Minister of Internal Affairs, and if all else fails the General Secretary can retain command of the DPG. |
