A bill devolving control of firework regulation to local governments ARTICLE I - The Commonwealth currently leaves all fireworks unregulated. Considering the dangerous nature of certain types of fireworks and their potential for abuse, it is hereby resolved to allow regulation of the sale of fireworks to local governments, which will be responsible for the allocation of fire safety and medical resources to ensure safe firework use. |
