Submitted by[?]: Social Justice Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2983
Description[?]:
In the interests of the financial and personal security of all Solentians the SDA seeks to provide a basic subsistence income for those Solentians without income. This will not only provide financial mercy to those who for whatever reason are unable to be employed, but also make such people less likely to be homeless or turn to crime. The SDA believes it is our nations obligation to support citizens who are finding financial difficulty, and in turn give them an opportunity to improve their own personal and financial position. Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn |
