| The Death penalty just will not do for our democracy. There are many reasons why to change it to a less extreme penalty. Example: 1. If a woman is raped, then the rapist has two options, 1. to run away, but for what he just did there is a death penalty so he would go with option 2. Kill her and get put to death any ways. So in theory, if we make it less extreme, we can increase the survival rate for victims from many crimes like this one. Kidnapping, robbery etc. Proposed: The death penalty is applied for capital crimes |
