Bill: Holy Sanctity Act of 2995

Details

Submitted by[?]: Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2996

Description[?]:

1. Henceforth, and in accordance with the prescriptions of the most Holy Bible as interpreted by the Vicar of Christ, the Holy Emperor and counselled by the hierarchy of the Church of Luthori, public servants shall not breach the rules of modesty and tradition, regardless of their faith.

2. Public servants may choose to display any symbols of the Church of Luthori, the Church of Alduria, the Mordusian Coptic Catholic Church or the Jewish rite, which are the official churches of the realms of His Majesty Emperor Maximilian.

3. However, public servants may not display blatant symbols of religions that are not official and not listed above. What symbols are deemed "blatant" will be decided upon by the Imperial Order of the Witch Hunters and the Royal Constabulary, representing respectively the Church and the Emperor.

4. Furthermore, Luthori is a realm founded in the Christian tradition and religion is an integral part of life in Luthor. Thus, all blatant displays of atheism are banned. What displays are deemed "blatant" will be decided upon by the Imperial Order of the Witch Hunters and the Royal Constabulary, representing respectively the Church and the Emperor.
