| Ok, so I am going inactive for the next 4 - 5 days (leading a camp group). At the moment Telamon and Hutori are on the brink of war, both sides have drawn up invasion plans - in all likelihood the war will turn into a bloody mess and I do not want to return to find that Lodamunese troops are getting shot dead on a completely different continent. I urge whoever takes over as President to not get involved in combat, I have already offered to send Lodamunese troops to act in a humanitarian role in both nations, however it is not in the best interests of Lodamun to get involved as more that peace-keepers. DO NOT GO TO WAR on either side, whatever you do. Both sides are monarchies, Telamon massacred the Hutori royal family (generations ago) and Hutori pressured Telamon to reinstate the Hutori monarch as HoS recently. Telamon replied by declaring WAR. I think that I can trust you all to do what is best for Lodamun, I look forward to retuning and finding it in decent condition. List of things that I have been trying to do. -Avoid combat role in Telamon - Hutori conflict. -Bring budget back into surplus, down to 20 billion deficit compared to 350 billion when I started. -Keep Lodamun as a democracy, Likatonia has once pressured us into a monarchy (do not accept if happens again) -Rebuild military, Likatonia has become increasingly hostile, watch out for that. -Encourage greater co-operation between parties, debate breeds fun, fun breeds debate etc. etc. Above all, have fun - I'll be back soon enough!
