The United States of Talmoria will protect the following basic rights and will not seek to supress them: 1. Right to Freedom of Speech Government will not impede a person's right to free speech and expression. 2. Right to Vote Government will not imperde a person's right to vote in a fair election. 3. Right to Prosperity and Happiness Government will not impede a person's right to seek prosperity and happiness. 4. Right to Equal Treatment Government will not discriminate against people based on sex, race, name, color, income level, sexual orientation, nationality. All people are entitled to equal treatment. 5. Right to a fair trial Government will ensure that each person accused of a crime is entitled to a fair unbiased trial with a right to appeal should the evidence be doubted. Each person is entitled to have a lawyer present. 6. No torture or unusual punishment Government will not use torture and any means of unusual punishment upon a person. This proposal is binding and must be abided by the government and its agencies at all times after the bill is signed into law. |
