Bill: Paramilitaries Proposal of 3128

Details

Submitted by[?]: Vereinigt Dorvik

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3128

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

Today Vereinigt Dorvik is here to represent the interests of several members of our community, who for whatever reason choose not to join up with the national military but wish to represent the interests of their local township or provinces. It is not our in interest whatsoever to allow the formation of dangerous militias who pose threats to governments or other citizens which is why we propose strict regulation, but we do not believe that the government should be stopping people who wish to support the efforts of law enforcement via voluntary-enlisted forces.

We do not believe that paramilitaries will ever clash with our national defense, as they will be less equipped and less supported. Those at risk of becoming a detriment to our communities may find their licenses and right to activity either suspended, or revoked and disbanded.

We would like to note that although we do not believe there will be wide support for this proposal, it will heighten public visibility to our position on the issue.
