| Mr. Speaker, Vereinigt Dorvik believes our firearms laws are contrary to the attitudes of our government as well as to the interest of our civilian defense. We should not hold a view of suspicion over our citizens, nor should we be limiting their ability to defend themselves. This proposal is also to complement the efforts of our Paramilitaries bill. |

Old value:: Adult individuals may not own firearms unless professionally required.
Current: Adult individuals are allowed to own and purchase guns freely.
Proposed: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
