| People simply cannot work too hard for too long. They become exhausted which leads to health problems and making mistakes in the workplace. Businesses still have freedom regarding how they are run and if they need additional staff they can take more on. Yes, there are many socially responsible and ethical businesses that care about their employees but too many companies will take advantage of this and kill their workers who are just trying to support their families. Therefore it is our responsibility, OUR DUTY to protect our workers and we do this by setting a limit to amount of hours a person can work per day to which all businesses must comply. |
