Bill: Deficit Limit Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Urban Party of Rutania

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3132

Description[?]:

[PREAMBLE]
In the past 150 years, Rutania has had a budget deficit that has repeatedly been close to or in two cases, surpass 100 Billion RUT. When it does pass the 100 Billion RUT mark, the government can no longer operate and shuts down. A shutdown causes millions to be out of work and can even cause a recession if it persists long enough. Therefore, we call on the National Assembly to raise the current Deficit Limit.

II. This law will come into effect approximately 3 months after its passage
