| Whereas, Local governments know best the ecology of their areas, and Whereas, They have every incentive to make sure that quotas are set in such a way as to prevent depopulation of their local species, and Whereas, We nationally protect, and should continue to nationally protect, endangered species anyway, We propose that other matters of hunting and fishing be controlled by local governments. |
