Details
Submitted by[?]: National Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3227
Description[?]:
The following two proposals are recommended to the forum as a response to national concerns regarding safety and security in our armed forces. By putting a security check on members certain racial identities, we enable ourselves to root out any potential traitorous individuals before they are given weapons and the opportunity to sabotage our defensive operations. It shall be the duty of the Ministry of Defence to determine which groups will be targeted for this exemption, which is being enacted for the greater safety of the nation. This is no time for tip-toeing around political correctness, there are lives on the line. We also believe that the product of Deltarian arms manufacturing should not be put in the hands of foreign operatives. Cautiously, we will allow for an exemption in the cases of close allies that have signed pacts with out governments - but we still recommend that only Deltarian hands should touch Deltarian weapons, lest they one day be turned against us. |
