Bill: Cutting Spending/Privatizations

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberaldemokratische Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3234

Description[?]:

In addition to the recent cuts of the national budget, we propose to introduce a couple of measures that will reduce governmental interference by leaving several services to the private sector.

1.) The state subsidizes the cost of pharmaceutical drugs for people with low income, so we see no use in interfering in the pharmaceutical industry with subsidies and price regulations.

2.) Subcontracting private firms will boost competition and will result in low prices for the services they charge, making it cheaper than maintaining a national fire department.

3.) and 4.) The same applies to Highway projects and space exploration.

LDP Spokeswoman for Finance
