Bill: Opening the Economy

Details

Submitted by[?]: Konservative Partei

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3262

Description[?]:

In accordance with the coalition proposal, we are tabling a modest set of proposals for liberalising the economy in certain areas.

We think it is sensible to allow private banks, under the auspices of a central bank, to compete to provide the best services to consumers and businesses. Moreover, legalising stock exchanges will allow private businesses to raise money to fund activities that will promote economic growth.

- Peter Salzbrenner, minister for trade and industrial relations.
