Details
Submitted by[?]: Hizb Al-Mohafezeen
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3283
Description[?]:
The name of the nation shall become "Al-Emmelkh al-Qafuristaniyyah (Kafuristan)" (Translation: Kindom of Kafuristan) This nations shall now be a constitutional monarchy with the House of Al-Shabab as the reigning royal house. The current head of the House of Al-Shabab is Abdullah Al-Shabab who shall be titled as His Royal Majesty, King Abdullah of Kafuristan. The Line of Succession for the throne will only be passed through the sons of the King. Lineage may not pass through a woman to her children. However, children of the monarch, regardless of birth, are encouraged to be given governmental positions. The Crown will always pass to the first son of the current monarch. If the current monarch does not have any sons then the crown will pass to the eldest brother of the current monarchy. If the current monarch does not have any brothers then the crown will pass to the nearest male relative of the monarch with succession only passing through males. If succession be contended, then an independent tribunal of all the parties of Kafuristan will be convened to determine to most suitable candidate to receive the crown. In order to maintain a democratic form of government, the head of government will be fully independent of the monarch. The head of government, hereafter called the Prime Minister, will be selected by the largest party in the newly formed Parliament of Kafuristan. The largest party in Parliament will be responsible for forming a suitable cabinet to make all executive decisions with the approval of the monarch. Acts passed by the Parliament will also require the approval of the monarch in order to become binding law (OOC: "approval of the monarch" here will be a given and automatic much like Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain "gives her approval" for acts passed by Parliament in Britain.....it's just for show and tradition). The current line of succession for the House of Al-Shabab will be as follows: ->King Abdullah (b. 3240) ---->Crown Prince Faisal (b. 3263) -------->Prince Sa'ud (b. 3280) -------->Prince Abdul (b. 3280) -------->Prince Muhammad (b. 3281) ---->Prince Ibrahim (b. 3265) -------->Prince Farhan (b. 3281) -------->Prince Khalid (b. 3283) ->Prince Abdul Aziz (b. 3243) ---->Prince Abdullah (b. 3266) ---->Prince Abdul Rahman (b. 3270) |
