On the passing of this act all citizens of Likatonia, all members of the Likaton Armed Forces, all public servants, and all government ministers will hereby pledge their loyalty to the Supreme Commander of Likatonia, Valeri Sokoloff by reciting the following oath of allegiance: "I hereby solemnly affirm: that I will be faithful and obedient to the leader of the Likaton Republic and its people, Valeri Sokoloff, to observe the law, to conscientiously fulfil my duties, and at all times be prepared to give my life for this oath." Failure to take or honour this oath will be considered an act of treason and will be punishable by death. This act also contains an addendum to the 'National Reform Act' requiring all adherents of organised religion to renounce their mistaken beliefs in their entirety. Failure to do so will be considered an act of treason and will be punishable by death. The enforcement of this act is to be carried out by the Patriotic Guard (ooc: the NPPL militia) - which is to be formally recognised as a sanctioned paramilitary group upon the passing of this act - with assistance from the police and armed forces when requested. |
