Bill: Business and Worker Freedom Act
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3287
Description[?]:
If workers refuse to work, then businesses should have the right to fire them. All problems relating to worker treatment, for the most part, can be handled by a free market (whereby workers are payed according to the demand for their skill). The openness of the free market likewise applies to workers. Assuming they are willing to undertake the risk of getting fired, workers should always retain to right to strike as a means of negotiation. Once again, the invisible hand of the free market brings balance and will solve the manifest and perceived problems. |
