Bill: Drawing the Line - Abortion
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3311
Description[?]:
Abortion should be allowed for whatever reason the mother wants to get it, whether it's an emergency or not. Not everyone supports this; some persons are against abortion, but their tax dollars are funding all abortions. Irresponsible couples will have unprotected sex, then end up getting pregnant, and having the government pay for them to get an abortion. I think they should pay for it themselves. We probably need to make contraception a little cheaper. Every church whore, who acts like a saint, changes a guy's gears occasionally; virginity is just idle talk for most of them. You'll see them protesting against contraception, but they use it more than anyone else so no-one knows that their unmarried bodies are no more "clean" than married ones. -- This bill will: 1) Fund abortions in cases of medical emergencies, instead of funding all abortions. 2) Make contraception easier to access, especially for college students (because they're young) and low-income earners, who would not consider expensive and possibly permanent contraception solutions. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
Random quote: "I worked at a factory owned by Germans, at coal pits owned by Frenchmen, and at a chemical plant owned by Belgians. There I discovered something about capitalists. They are all alike, whatever the nationality. All they wanted from me was the most work for the least money that kept me alive. So I became a communist." - Nikita Khrushchev |
