Bill: The Right of Desent
Details
Submitted by[?]: House of Astredies
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3318
Description[?]:
Under the current statutes the people of Beluzia are forced to serve the government in some way after completion of highschool. This is absurd. I am allowed to desecrate the flag but I am not allowed to disagree with my country and not support a war. I must either choose to fight for something I don't believe in or work clerically for the government supporting it. We cherish freedom of speech but we apparently do not cherish the descenting opinions that come with it. I was also shocked to learn that our government infringes upon the freedom of speech of employees who wish to strike in support of other strikers. I do not understand how we can remain free if we do not allow the descent that comes with freedom. |
