| The Whig Party has secured an agreement with House House of Arinidi for the marriage of one of their noble daughters, HG Lady Selene Arinidi of Lirona. Subject to full Seima ratification she will marry our King, HM Georg-Ludwig I von Rothringen-Ludwig thus becoming: 'HM Selene Arinidi Rothringen-Ludwig, Queen-Consort of Dolgava, Duchess of Karzon' Accompanying this was the earlier-approved Telamon-Dolgava Friendship Treaty which secured free-trade agreements between our countries. This is proof of the usefulness of our monarchy, constantly opening up new friends and markets for our Kingdom. With the passing of this bill, the Seima hereby undertakes to: 1. Ratify this marriage agreement, thus enabling the ceremonies to take place 2. Agree to the creation of the Duchy of Karzon for HG the Queen-Consort; and her eldest born daughter 3. Note that the prospective Queen will be 'Queen-Consort', and not 'Queen-Regnant', she will never exercise any royal authority - and upon the death of HM the King would become Queen-Mother Thank you all for your consideration. With this marriage, we can secure the future of the restoration dynasty. |
