| Proposed by: Priestess-Nobles of Takanashi Clan There are many researches stating that the intelligence of many species of whales do possess a notably high level of intelligence and sentience, including complex languages (better known as the songs of whales) to communicate with other individuals across Terra. As such, we believe that it is only just to consider whales to be ones of similar intelligence with humanity. In such case, we believe that killing whales for commercial purpose will be a gravely offensive action towards them, as we are potentially killing sentient beings like ourselves for monetary gain. |
