Bill: Intellectual Property Rights
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3344
Description[?]:
Citizens on Mordusia currently have no Intellectual Property Rights. We believe that establish intellectual property rights would benefit Mordusian Artistic Community. After all people work hardest and produce the most when they produce for themselves. We at the Freedom Party believe that this is as true for artistic expression as it is for shoemakers. We believe that works of art should be owned by their creators and no third party should be allowed to use another's artistic creation for profit without the consent of the artist (this can be bought/obtained via some sort of royalties contract). |
