Bill: Liberty in our Lifetime

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kundrati Liberty Movement (KLM)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3352

Description[?]:

For too long the government has intervened into the lives of free individuals. Thus we propose this bill. It outlines our entire agenda in this one bill. Finally, Kundrati has a chance to go beyond statism. The Federal Government should be there to protect people from others, not to take care of people and "protect" them from themselves through the use of other peoples' money. Instead of keeping up the dependence to the state we promote a move towards freedom and individualism. Sure, it is important to help the poor and allow them to succeed but this can be handled voluntarily by religious and other private organizations. There is a demand for the poor to receive a good education (as many people always say education is vital) thus there will naturally be a supply to fill that demand if a free market is allowed to function. The free market, free of regulations, would also assure very low costs. This is proven in the least regulated markets. Anyone can get a cell phone. This is due to minimal regulations.
